We didn’t just happen. We were born from one woman’s dream and love for helping kids. And not just kids. Our founder has a strong desire to help everyone.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is that Kids Family Network’s principles are based upon the belief that the best place for children to grow up is in a family and the most effective way to ensure children’s safety, permanency, and well-being is to provide services that engage, involve, strengthen, and support families.
KEY PRINCIPLES
The Key Principles of Kids Family Network include:
- Working with the family unit to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone
- Strengthening the capacity of families to function effectively by focusing on solutions
- Engaging, empowering, and partnering with families throughout the decision and goal-making processes
- Developing a relationship between foster parents and service providers characterized by mutual trust, respect, honesty, and open communication
- Providing individualized, culturally responsive, flexible, and relevant services for each family
- Linking families with collaborative, comprehensive, culturally relevant, community-based networks of supports and services
Foster parents shall be supported by an agency team of case managers, home developers, trainers and Child Placement Management Staff that will provide in-home agency support. This support will be in the form of crisis intervention, technical assistance, monthly monitoring, agency trainings, 24 hour day access to an on-call member and referral to community services.

Foster Child Learning Basic Skills
OUR PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
- Provide experience and conditions that enhance maturation, protect from further harm and help children become personally and socially responsible.
- Promote the reunification with biological parents or provide permanent living/appropriate placement.
- Help high-risk children in foster care (aged birth to 18 years of age) develop into healthy and successful adults.
We intend to accomplish our purpose through the provision of save and supportive verified homes and families; quality programs and services to children; professional, well-trained and caring staff; and a community atmosphere that encourages teamwork and cooperation among youth, families, staff and volunteers.

Ms. T Bowie
Owner/Founder
Ms. Bowie was born in Millington, TN to a military family and was raised in Texas. She started off as a nurse for many years then eventually obtained her degree in Healthcare Administration. She has served and advocated for healthcare for many years. She especially loved working with the geriatric population. She was later called to assist with a Foster Care Agency in which she found her passion and dedication for abused/neglected children.
Ms. Bowie has a passion for helping others. With a high level of determination and fight, she believes her path never just happens. She started working as a case management and later became an Administrator for a Child Placement Agency. From there she created many systems to aid in the foster care process.
Ms. Bowie founded Kids Family Network in 2022 and partnered with local churches in the DFW area where she continues to be a voice to the community. She states she doesn’t want to have just an agency. She wants an agency where foster parents and children voices are BOTH heard. She wants to be a support system to the foster parents and listen to their needs, to change the narrative of foster care.
Ms. Bowie has three beautiful children whom she loves and adores.
